7:30 - 8:00 - Homeroom/Morning Routine/K.M.S. Morning
Show/Journal Writing
8:00 - 8:30 -Calendar/Morning Message/Vocabulary
8:30 - 9:00 - Writing Workshop
9:00 - 10:00 - Reading Groups
10:00 - 10:20 - Snack/Outside Play
10:20 - 11:10 - Special Areas/Planning
11:10 - 11:40 - Literacy Centers
11:45 - 12:15 - Lunch
12:15 - 12:45 - Theme Centers
12:45 - 1:30 - Math Workshop
1:30 - 2:00 - Unit Work (Science/Social Studies)
2:00 - Clean up/Sign folders
2:00 - Dismiss early bus-riders
2:10 - Load car-riders and regular bus

Mrs. Pumphrey's Rules/Discipline Plan:

Rules - "Don't Monkey Around with Bad Behavior!!"

1. K - Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
2. N - Nice language only.
3. O - Obey teachers and other adults.
4. W - When on the sidewalks, walk.

Discipline Plan - "3 Bananas and You're Split!!"

All students begin with their card on a green smiley face. If your child
breaks any of the above KNOW rules, then they move their card to
yellow. Here, they receive a time-out from theme centers and outside
play. If there are any further behavior problems, then your child will
move their card to red. Here, they will have no theme centers and no
outside play. A telephone call to the parent will be made or a note sent
home if the problem continues. Look for your child's behavior in their
green folder.
